A press conference taking place on June 10 demonstrates Taiwan’s ambition to establish new mobile telecommunications standards. The Ministry of Economic Affairs joined forces with Taiwan’s government sectors, ITRI, National Chung-Shan Institute of Science & Technology, and enterprises like ASUS, ACER, MediaTek, Chunghwa Telecom, ASE, Honghai Group to develop 5G (5th generation mobile networks).
The video also shows ITRI’s accomplishment of developing 5G communication platform.
